Cancellation and Refunds:
- General Cancellation Rights:
- Customers have the right to cancel their scooter rental reservation at any time. The conditions for obtaining a refund depend on when the cancellation notice is received relative to the rental start date.
- Full Refunds:
- A full refund will be issued for any reservation cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled drop-off time of the scooter. This allows us to manage our inventory and offer the cancelled scooter to other customers.
- Late Cancellations:
- If a cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the scheduled drop-off time, no refund will be issued. This policy is in place because the short notice makes it difficult to allocate the reserved scooter to another customer.
- Refund Processing:
- Refunds will be processed using the same payment method that was used to make the original reservation. For example, payments made by credit card will be refunded to the same credit card used at the time of booking.
- Timing of Refunds:
- Refunds are processed promptly but may take up to 5-7 business days to appear on your bank or credit card statement, depending on the processing times of your bank or card issuer.
- Non-refundable Charges:
- Any charges for optional services that have already been utilized, such as early pick-up fees or special equipment requests, are not refundable.
Modifications to Reservations:
- If you need to modify your reservation, such as changing the drop-off or pick-up time, we will accommodate these changes at no extra charge, provided the modifications are made more than 24 hours before the scheduled time. Modifications made less than 24 hours before the reservation time may not be accommodated, and no refund will be issued if the reservation cannot be modified.
Exceptional Circumstances:
- We understand that sometimes, exceptional circumstances can affect your plans. In cases such as illness, family emergencies, or unforeseen travel disruptions, we will consider issuing a refund or waiving the cancellation fees if documentary proof is provided. Each case will be assessed on its merits, and our decision will be made at our discretion.
